No one wants to be surprised by one of the many red-light cameras that can be found at a traffic intersection in Atlanta or any other city in Georgia. PhotoEnforced.com provides the exact location of red light cameras in Georgia and other states as well, as a service to both residents of Georgia and other states, and visitors traveling from state to state. Fines for running a red light may vary by location and state and PhotoEnforced has some of the fines for red light ticket violations listed along with the location.
Georgia’s traffic laws provide for a $70 max for a red light camera ticket violation, penalties include no conviction or record offense, no points are incurred and it’s not considered a moving violation or can the information be used by insurance companies for determining insurance premiums or rates. However, a typical red light ticket issued by a Georgia Law Officer can run up to 1,000 with 3 points on your driving record. Most of these tickets come via running through a red light rather than turning right on red and could be more dangerous and cause an accident or injury to another driver or pedestrian.
Georgia is one of 41 states that does allow for a right turn on red after a complete stop, but you must come to a complete stop before executing that right turn and many traffic ticket violations happen when this does not occur.
If you think that running a red light might not be so bad after all watch this video for some serious accidents caused by drivers who chose not to stop, proceed with caution!

I think it’s sad that information that could save someone money isn’t publicly available for free. Photo-enforced. com is a member site. You’d think if the first goal was actually safety and not revenue, a government entity would make sure the info was free. I went through a caution light that came on ,then turned red very, very quickly. I’m hoping a pedestrian just hit a button to change the light so he could cross. The Georgia legislature has become a rubber stamp for whatever the insurance companies and small cities who are over dependent on traffic fines want. A recent bill to make it a crime to cover your license plates will enhance the already standing law that enables cities to use speed cameras. If you can no longer flip a switch in your car and cover your plate from being seen by snooping cameras, these cities will just be salivating and over anxious to ramp up enforcement ( over enforcement is more likely) All people are doing when they covered their plates was simply trying to avoid being fleeced for not crossing a ” t ” , or dotting an ” I “. Simply sad and ridiculous what this country is turning into
